Question 1

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Accepted Answer

You can start a 14-day free trial from the signup page, and no credit card is required. The trial is a way to begin organising your rental records before deciding which plan fits your portfolio.

Question 2

What plans and prices are shown for LatchLedger?

Accepted Answer

The pricing page shows three monthly NZD plans: Starter is NZD 19 per month, Plus is NZD 39 per month, and Agency is NZD 149 per month. The plans explain which working context each is intended for, while the current pricing page does not claim feature limits or feature gating. Pricing is informational: checkout is not enabled and paid feature activation is not being claimed.

Question 3

Is LatchLedger designed for New Zealand rentals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. LatchLedger is focused on New Zealand rental records for private landlords and small property managers. Add a property and its location, then review the listed location-based requirements and their official sources.

Question 4

What can I keep together for each property?

Accepted Answer

The published product information describes location-based checklists, reminders for inspections, smoke alarm checks and certificate renewals, and a document vault for certificates, tenancy documents and property photos. It also describes shareable PDF reports for tenants, insurers or a property manager when a clear record is useful.

Question 5

What does the Healthy Homes checklist show?

Accepted Answer

For a New Zealand rental, the checklist shows the listed requirements and their official sources as a practical review point. Only sourced, owner-approved rules are published; anything still awaiting approval stays out of the checklist.

Question 6

Can LatchLedger tell me whether my property complies?

Accepted Answer

No. LatchLedger checklists and reports provide general information only, not legal advice, and do not promise a legal outcome or determine whether a particular property complies. Rules and guidance can change, so review the current official sources and obtain qualified advice for your situation when needed.

Question 7

Where should I go next?

Accepted Answer

Start the 14-day trial from the signup page if you are ready to organise a property record. If you want to compare the published plans first, review the pricing page; it shows the current informational NZD monthly plan details.
